APPEARANCE: Jacked, clean, athletic, and exuberant. Ilya accentuates his hardwon body with colorful style. He loves shows of his status and wealth, a little bit of flash to let'm know. He dresses for the occasion, whether it's lazing around in athleisure or dressed to the nines for a cocktail. His mother's Russian cross, is the only accessory he's never without.

He has the physical manner of an expressive entertainer, clever in his face and gestures. His attention is either scattered everywhere or laser-focused, and anyone can tell which state of mind he's in when it happens. Ilya is capable of hiding his feelings, but he doesn't often choose to do so.

PERSONALITY: Ilya presents himself to the world as a bully. His ambition is unparalleled, his skill renowned, and his ego swollen to match them. He talks shit and picks fights because he knows he can back it up--and he knows it makes him look scarier, both to the people who back down when he blusters and to the people that take his challenges and lose. He doesn't count on other people winning.

His confidence in victory isn't unfounded. Ilya strives for perfection, but not blindly. He watches his own work and the work of those around him closely and seeks to provide and receive feedback (from trusted sources, at least). His reputation for big talk gives him room to be bold with others, and his reputation as a shithead affords him a certain amount of jester's privilege. If you think he's making a good point, you're welcome, he's a genius. If you think he's talking out his ass, you're lucky his shit smells like roses, loser.

Predictably, Ilya's bombastic exterior protects a very sensitive man. He's deeply reserved about his deep feelings and family life, not secretive but outright belligerent with anyone that tries to peek in. He shares that protectiveness with the people that do make it into his heart; his family and loved ones run like a ticking clock in the back of his mind at all times. Ilya is loyal to his loved ones even at his own expense, and he struggles to delegate responsibility away from himself for their wellbeing.

- hockey: He's an international champion, this is his whole life.
- organizing: Ilya has a keen attention to detail and a gift for directing teams. He's a natural leader on the ice and off. Even if he'd prefer to be off duty when he's not in the rink, he's capable of managing complex events for himself and his family.
